Terminal Gates

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport has one passenger terminal, consisting of 8 gates. The AVP terminal is a two-leveled building. On the first floor, there are two gates: 1 and 2; and on the second floor, there are the rest gates from 3 to 8.

American Eagle is operating at 2, 3, and 5 gates; Delta Air Lines serves at 4 and 6, and United Express operates at 1, 7, and 8 gates.

Gate 7 is generally used for diversions and charter flights.

Terminal Facilities

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport terminal offers its visitors many facilities to ease the travel experience and stress for each passenger. Terminal amenities include a meditation room, where visitors can relax, read books, and meditate.

At the airport terminal, there are restrooms and lactation rooms for nursing mothers. One of them is located outside the airport administration office, while another one is near the gates 1-2.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport’s terminal has several facilities, where travelers can get some food and drinks. Dunkin’ Donuts, located on the second floor, past security provides coffees and desserts. Hungry passengers can also dine at Lucky’s Craft Food and Drink.

At the airport, there is an information center that provides brochures, maps, and other exciting things for visitors.

On the first floor of the terminal, there is a military appreciation room, next to the Public Safety Offices.
