The Luzerne County Transportation Authority provides bus service at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport. The bus line number 17, operates at the airport and serves route from the airport to the downtown Wilkes-Barre. The bus stop at the airport is located outside the terminal, at the departure area.

At AVP, there are two rideshare companies, mainly Uber and Lyft, that provide rides from and to the AVP airport.
