Geneva Airport Terminals
Terminal 1 serves as the Main Terminal at Geneva Airport, and it consists of the five piers named as A, B, C, D, and F.
The terminal building of Geneva Airport is divided into five levels:
The underground level provides a connection to the railway Station. Customers should note that they can access the station from the left end of the upper level.
Ground Level
Ground-level consists of arrivals, including the baggage claim area.
On the Arrivals level, travelers can give access to the following services: Wi-Fi, Defibrillator, Information Point, Showers, ATMs, Car Rental, Post Office. The parking lots P1 and P2 can also be entered from the ground level.
First Level
The first level of the terminal includes the check-in area. Travelers can find here the French sector from the right side, which is conveniently located in the French part of the facility.
The following services are available at the indicated level: Medical Care Service, Press Room, Wi-Fi, Defibrillators, Taxis, Car Rental, Wheelchair Assistance, among others.
The second level of the terminal is dedicated mostly to departures. There’s a centralized security checkpoint, with a great restaurant and a shopping area located within the secured transit area.
Commuters should note that at this level, the passenger flow is organized and split by non-Schengen and Schengen passengers.
Free Wi-Fi, Defibrillators, Information, ATMs, Smoking Area, Terrace, are available at the indicated level area.
The Mezzanine levels (1 & 2) provide passengers with a wide variety of concessions like restaurants, shower services, lounges, Prayer Room, Medical Care, Child Rooms, and terrace viewings.
Commuters should note that the two top levels are mostly used for services and also terrace viewing
Terminal 2
Geneva Airport Terminal 2 is only operative during the Winter season to serve both scheduled and charter flights related to skiing.
Outside the season, the terminal remains closed.
The building was built in 1946 and represented the main terminal until the 1960s when the first terminal started its operations and became the Main Terminal in Geneva Airport.
It is available within walking distance from both CFF station and Terminal 1 (opposite parking P51).
Levels
After passing check-in and the security check, travelers are taken by low floor buses to piers A-D of Terminal 1.
