Shreveport Regional Airport Car Rentals

Rental car company counters are located on the first floor of the airport terminal building. There are six car rental companies, including Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, Budget, Thrifty, and National.

Avis

Avis car rental counter is located in the rental car center in the baggage claim area. Company vehicles are parked outside the terminal, within walking distance. Rather than requiring a driver to be at least 25 years old, Avis at this location allows 21-year-old people to rent a car. People from 21 to 24 will automatically be charged an additional 27 dollars per day of rental. Additional charges are for late returns and extensions too. After working hour return is allowed at Shreveport, but a vehicle must be returned with the full tank of gas, and the car must be parked in the return parking lot. The vehicle must be locked, and the customer should leave the keys and the contract in the drop box at the counter.

Hertz

Hertz car rental company counter is in the baggage claim area. Company cars are parked outside the terminal and include all types and classes of vehicles. Hertz vehicles are equipped with infant seats, child seats, booster seats, and hand controls. For the rental contract, Hertz requires the customer to provide a valid driver's license and the credit card. Even though a credit card is the only acceptable payment method, debit cards can be allowed for the starting of a rental contract. When using a debit card to rent a car, renters will also be required to provide their airline flight ticket and two forms of identification. At this location, after-hour pick-ups and drop-offs are also allowed.

Enterprise

Enterprise offers its customers a wide variety of vehicles, parked on-site, outside the baggage claim area of Shreveport Regional Airport. The car rental company allows renters domestic partners and spouses to become additional drivers. Still, in this kind of case, renters will be charged an extra 10 dollars per day of rental. Enterprise employees demand a valid driver's license from renters and check their driving records. All renters, also additional drivers must be at least 21 years old to be able to rent a car from Enterprise. Renters must remember that credit cards are only payment method allowed at this location.
